I have taken my in laws for dinner at Jasmine Seafood Restaurant and my our experiences was a shock since this restaurant has such high reviews.I do not like giving bad reviews at all, but there will be more cons than pros if you read on. The dinner began with a hair in my tea. I advised the manager of this and instead of replacing our teapot w/ a new batch he proceeded to argue that it was not hair rather it was a tea leaf. In my defense I think I can differentiate a curly short hair from tea leaves. Throughout dinner it was almost impossible to get our fountain drinks re-filled even after advsing our waitress and other waitresses that we need more water and sodas. After dinner we waited for about 45 minutes for our check despite my father in law waiving his credit card in the air to catch any waitress or waiter's attention. Pro: Good food. Con: Service is spotty. I will always come back to this restaurant for its great dim sum. The variety is unbeatable. But don't expect consistent and superior customer service. The quality of customer service training among the servers vary, but mediocre at best. An example is when two servers where having a long conversation while one was serving our table. The one serving us actually stopped in the middle of serving so she could converse with her co-worker. Again, I would recommend this place simply for the dim sum.
